Over the past few months, we hosted a few interesting events: Italian Wine Promotion, Sake Pairing Dinner, Japanese Fruits Gourmet Dinner, Moon Festival Celebration Dinner, Louis XIII Tasting, Anna Hu High Jewellery Exhibition, Bernardini Vintage Watches and Luggage Display, Wellness Day … Opportunities are always there for our valued members and guests to enjoy the Club while our travel opportunities remain limited.

New Western Chef —
Mr Valent Kwok
Valent has more than 20 years of experience in western cooking. He was trained and groomed at the Repulse Bay and Harlan’s restaurant. Valent also has brief exposures to the hospitality industry including Marco Polo and St Regis. Before joining us, he worked at the Hong Kong Golf Club and Le Café de Joel Robuchon.
Valent will focus on improving and expanding our a la carte menu as well as the banquet menus. This is a great time for Valent to bring you all the authentic festive dishes to make your holiday complete. More importantly, the management is working on a new concept for Green Bar designed to provide more dining options for you in 2023 Q1.

Halloween Week
Join us this Halloween for a special Black Monday at the Club!
On Friday, Oct 28, we will have a pre-Halloween party for you and your friends ahead of time. A list of Halloween drinks and snacks will be prepared along. Group your party for a surprise and fun night under the full moon at the Victoria Harbour, maybe you can bump into someone in the dark…. We have a week of Halloween specials from Oct 24 to Oct 31, to make sure you all enjoy a wonderful week, please don’t miss it!
BBQ Dinner at the Entertainment Room
Autumn is coming with the crispy weather. Book your small group of BBQ dinner at the entertainment room for up to 30 pax. Chef Valent can also serve you with sumputous BBQ items: seafood, poultry, vegetables and meats. Please tell us your dietary preference and your tailor-made karaoke BBQ party will be ready without hassle. Meanwhile, you can sing all night long with karaoke singing, or enjoy card games, mah-jong or poker in the room.

Only with traditional steamed Hairy Crab may not satisfy you, so we have prepared a list of crab dishes for you this fall, feel free to ask our F&B team for the menu.
Winter Celebrations
Family and home are the two most important components what makes an individual's life complete. While many old customs have been abandoned in modern Chinese families, the importance of family remains strong. The Chinese culture, despite undergoing several changes, is still rooted in its traditional values.
Chinese cherish love and support from family, hence family gatherings are a must on the agenda every year. Family celebration like the Full Moon gathering, Winter Solstice and Chinese New Year are some important days that Chinese would not miss.
Traditionally, the Chinese still have strong family values.
As in previous years, we have prepared you delicious Poon Choi (early bird price) for 4 at HK$1,880 or 6 at HK$2,580; you can enjoy it at the restaurant or takeaway. Just order from us 3 days in advance. Please check with our F&B team for the early bird discount period.

Wellness and Fitness
This summer, we arranged private swimming and Pilates lessons, and a Wellness Day. 5 trainers and coaches spent a Saturday with our members and guests at the Club, from 11am to 4pm, hosting sessions and talks on yoga, stretching, high impact dancing-exercise and special dietary introduction.
In addition, our Tennis Coach, Mike Walker Tennis, also organized some Saturday Morning tennis programme for kids under 12. Session after session ran from 9 am to noon, grouping different ages of children members to develop a passion for sports, improve technique and fitness, and boost confidence.
A 2-hour Tennis Open Day was also organized for adult members in early October to promote the sport.
Fencing Trial
Fencing has grown rapidly in Hong Kong. It is not only exciting but also an elegant sport. It is a great activity for kids, which involves great physical and mental exercise and requires a great deal of focus. It also develops hand-eye coordination, balance and quick reflexes.
A newly established fencing academy, APEX, has recently opened on the 4/f of Shun Tak Centre West Wing. APEX is now exclusively organising fencing trail classes for our children members from ages of 4 to 9 in November 2022.
